Alternative Tire Rims (Wheels)
If selecting alternative sized tires, be certain your existing wheel rim width is adequate; this dimension is illustrated in the P-Metric System section. For example, 6" wide rims could be used for tires that have section widths ranging from 165 mm (6.5") to 235 mm (9.5"). See Alternative Rim Widths chart below for acceptable rim widths based on tire width.
